While I really have no experience of such, my gut feeling is that lengthy delays in the EEZ PSC dynamic are over. With Oranto signed in, am expecting fast, back-to-back movement on EEL's two blocks and then we follow.

What happens after that will open up a whole new chapter of possibilities and uncertainties for EHRC. Anxious for the curtain to go up!

On Feb 16, 2010 ERHC announced that it "picked" Block 4 & 11 in the EEZ.

Now Oct 18, 2011, over 20 months later, ERHC announces they have:
"agreed to start Production Sharing Contract (PSC) negotiations in mid-November."

This gives new meaning to African time.

It took twenty months to agree to START negotiations. How long to you think it will take to actually work out the negotiations if it took that long just to agree to sit down and negotiate? At this pace, the negotiations should last a year or two or three.
