Update Company Info Business Description RMDT was incorporated in California in 2001 as an alternative to the common place practice of dumping electronic waste (E-Waste) in third world countries. During the ensuing years, RMD has worked to remove as much E-Waste as possible from the export market while maintaining a "no landfill" policy. In 2007 RMDT began to evaluate the feasibility of manufacturing Small Electric Vehicles. We developed processes for redirecting the collected E-waste to the manufacture of these vehicles and concluded that the plan could attain profitability. We are now beginning the implementation of this plan. RMD Technologies, Inc. has been developing a "proof of concept" vehicle for over two years and are now moving to the next phase of vehicle development. This phase will involve factory site selection, manufacture of prototypes and selection of suppliers for non-proprietary sub assemblies. RMDT has applied for and received preliminary approval from the SAE as an EV manufacturer. RMDT plans on launching sales of these new vehicles during the fourth quarter of 2010 with delivery of the first units soon after. RMDT expects these vehicles to qualify for all federal and state tax incentives, including the current federal tax credit available under the Energy Improvement and Extension Act of 2008.
