I received a reply from Jim this am, everything he has said is true.
The army regulations are holding up the official news release.
Even though the SBIR award is listed on the army website as WON,
AFTC CANNOT RELEASE ANY DETAILED INFORMATION WITHOUT OFFICIAL APPROVAL FROM THE ARMY AS SAID IN THEIR CONTRACT.
The army control is in the "details", not the general info. So, yes, everyone can see that they won a second sbir phase II, but no other info has been officially released.
Jim did apply for permission to release the information. They are still waiting for approval. It is that simple.
And that also explains why it is NOT shown on the DOD SBIR awards website. (that website releases DETAILS, about what it is and the size of the award.)
(I only asked about the army sbir award being listed and public information. I hope this helps answer most of your questions and clears up any doubts about the CEO's integrity.)
