I wonder if the investment trust get favorable tax treatment. Otherwise, I can't see why setting up an investment trust makes any sense.

Unless, they are going to be like SPN&, and have MS invoice the investment trust and book false sales orders.

On a more serious note, back when I was doing DD on deano's life settlement deal, I came across a firm in the Mauritius owned by Saudi's that actually structured a $2.5 billion life settlement deal that the Saudi soveriegn (sic) fund invested in (i.e. they bought all the bonds).
