I suspect that was a nice catch. Hope so anyhow! Clearly you could not have done better than on the 4th. Your congratulations have come in the form of reasonably good gains, particularly given the nature of the markets at this time.
I'm not sure how this week's gains will hold. You know the charts and we all know the crap shoot volatility we have been dealing with. I suspect, wish I knew but don't, that we will see the indicators all over for a time to come. Question is, did you really find the bottom? If so, claim skill and good trading smarts. We all have to take our cudos where we may. LOL
I remain locked and loaded with other positions, which suffer greatly from the mass exodus of capital from our markets. Against my instinct and better judgement, I am holding fast till I see the change and that the circumstances are being acknowledged by cash flow.
The talking heads suggest that by the time we realize that the change has occurred, we will already be well into chasing the golden pots. We have only to look back on BC, F, GE, amongst many others, to see the quagmire we negotiate.
At the mouth of the Columbia River there is a place called the Columbia Bar where either after negotiating the Pacific Coast or the bosom of the lovely Columbia one might anticipate safe haven. Instead, it is hell on Earth with the wetness and cold ready to claim both the fool hardy and inexperienced as hell hath no furry as a woman and the sea. You should look into it. Much as the markets we see at this time. LOL
