GP, The first thing BOTH sides need to do is FULLY fund a HOMELAND SECURITY Department asap, AND go find someone capable to run the Department. Not some ex gov political hack from PA.
Someone who can think outside the box and react in a moments notice. A Collen Powell type comes to mind that both sides would readily accept.
