I think the reason Sprint did not use Clearwire to build their LTE (eventhough Clearwire has the capability) is because Clearwire is destined to be SOLD.

This way Sprint may get some cash from the deal and in a takeover Clearwire shareholders and officers would also benefit.

Just a guess.

I have been trading S for a while now, and last time at around $3 couple months back with very good +$$ when I sense some bad stuffs will happen. Glad I got back in, all bad news we have since last Friday and little more in the future as thru said it, IMO, they just like to scare scarely-investors, BUT a potential is GREATER for making $$ wth S in this kind of economy. Must act fast accordingly (Lesson learned with SmokeFree, a lots of $$ I could take, I didn't).
