The internet has changed the ENTIRE concept of "Penny Stocks".
It used to be you couldn't find anything out about them. Now you can find all (maybe even more) that you want to know with the "click" of a keyboard key.
And even these message boards... despite creating a whole new career field for bashers... take DD way beyond what it was just 4 or 5 years ago.
That's not to say it isn't still a giant hill for Penny Stock companies to have to climb...

TRCPA, well, if the professionals did the DD and told investors to buy this at 30 cents, they would end up with few clients. They don't recommend OTC or Pink Sheet stocks because they are CRAP! You can put all the lipstick you want on them, but they are pumps and dumps, get in and out quickly before the dilution wipes you out. The "Pros" have enough problems finding good recs on the major exchanges without fooling around with poo. Sure, some investors get lucky and lots of people win the Lotteries every year, would you advise your friends and family to invest a $1000 a month in Lottery tickets?
