If Do It Best can get off to a good start; with much better tools then Lancaster retailers had with their initial start - I like the odds of growth happening...all around the states.
Lot of good things in place imo...(racks, cheaper counter displays, new name, website, facebook, brochures, means to distribute info to 4000+ members via corporate) - a different level then Lancaster or any retailer to date (no Canadian chain / co-op has that reach of stores)
Rockin' demos by Scup/Dirty from get go to these new member-owners - decision makers (not reliance on a distributor rep - although some are good..they don't do it best like Scup/Dirty as their plethora of examples and vids, passion and understanding...imo)
eric posted in blog the dap sealer, oil base paint, graffiti/paint on pole - they likely pulled out other things from past vids/demos too that they know 'work' and get results from 'past experiences' (with family/friends, Lowes Ohio, etc.)
will it (growth) happen fast enough for some? maybe maybe not
but selling to 'one customer' in Lowes store demos is one thing; selling to a retail store owner with employees and many customers is another....
should get quicker 'bang' for buck imo.....because each sale at dealer show is a sale of at least a case if not more (not a bottle or two).
