Tinroad - Yes I was aware of the "acceptance" of the microdrive but until this most recent PR I was unaware of an MP2000 that actually accepted and played one. It does require some additional engineering I believe.

The Microdrive "is" devised around the type 2 slot, this device(MP2000) will except both the compact flash cards as well as the Micro drive.
