Looks like the Scottrade "customer support" staff just gave me the finger, and rather than help solve the problem, they simply wiped out the records of my communication with them.

So, I just called the physical office nearest me, and got someone to work the problem on the phone.

Ended with him saying he'd be able to get me a control number to let me vote on proxyvote.com but that he would have to get it from their reorg department in the morning...

Looks like it will take at least another day to get this simple task handled...

Of course, the reason I want to do it electronically is to make it easier...
