Don't worry about trying to win - just employ a three-part strategy:

1) make sure the logo is on your back
2) make sure you weasel your way to the front of the pack prior to the gun
3) make sure you run slow enough that everybody has to pass you.

That's lots of free advertising. Just make sure it doesn't say something like "Powered by Smoky Market" as people are flying by you. :)

On the topic of adveristing..did you know we could (I believe this is accurate) send over a sample logo to kinkos and I believe they can make just about anything out of it for VERY low cost such as clear applications that adhere to the rear window of your vehicle...possibly tee shirts applications? You get where I am going with that..I don't know if Eddie would want us doing that without him seeing/approving the finished product first but I for one would pay for advertising like that and use myself as a human advertising board :) and my vehilce as well! Just a thought. Another thought I had the other day is that when it comes time for SMKY to do their YUMMY fests, before you hire people, put out on the IHUB what cities and states they will be held in. If anything is down here in Florida, I would volunteer my time to work the event.
