Giving the BB company the benifit of the doubt. Many times OTC companies out right lie. But if management is smart, they need and get a paper trail, to protect their butts from any SEC problems in the future.
My guess it was planned. Company sent a letter to Boeing and waited for a return letter. That way they didn't lie in their PR.
