DNA Interactive to Develop Naked Gun:ICUP for iOS and Android Platforms
LEAMINGTON SPA, United Kingdom, Aug. 18, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- DNA Interactive, subsidiary of DNA Dynamics (Pink Sheets:DNAD), have announced an exciting new deal signed with Gamecentric Media to bring the well-known, Paramount comedy, The Naked Gun to iOS and Android platforms, this Fall.
Specialists in social gaming, the Gamecentric Media team have been involved in some of the biggest multi-player titles such as Call of Duty and the Warcraft series. They are using their social gaming expertise to add The Naked Gun:ICUP Facebook game to their already impressive portfolio. Paul Limon, CEO of Gamecentric Media, said, "It's an honor to be able to continue the exploits of Frank Dreben Jr. on mobile platforms with our partners at DNA Dynamics. Equally adept in the mobile phone games industry, DNA Interactive will partner the LA Based developer and DNA Studios to bring the Naked Gun franchise to Android and iOS devices. The game will be produced internally, through DNA Studios: a subsidiary of DNA Dynamics. CEO Ed Blincoe comments: "DNA Dynamics is very excited to be involved with the Naked Gun project. Our point and click with a CSI twist adventure game, complete with puzzles, quests and Zucker brother quirk will be unique among existing mobile phone games." The mobile adventure will tie-in closely with the social networking game, all to be written by Robert LoCash, original series co-writer and producer.
The mobile game is expected to gross $2 million over the lifetime of the product. Going to Market in Q4, DNA Interactive expects to report the revenues in its end of year financial statement.
Previously DNA announced that its match 3 puzzle game ranked 12th in the puzzle category in Apple's App store. The collaboration will bring to market four new apps, specifically aimed at children playing to the strengths of both businesses. LEAMINGTON SPA, England, Aug. 4, 2011 // DNA Dynamics, Inc. (PK:DNAD) has signed an engagement letter with Ethan Weyand & Associates to assist us by preparing the company's accounts to be audited. DNAD's attorney has also been instructed to begin the process of filing the relevant paperwork with the SEC to become fully reporting, including a Form 10.
These are required steps when looking to uplift OTC status from Pink to OTCQB.
In commenting on the company's move, Ed Blincoe, CEO of DNAD, said, "raising our OTC status to OTCQB is evidence of our absolute intention to shareholder value and to bring the company onto a higher exchange. It is important for shareholders to be able to invest in a businesses which are fully transparent and it is important to the business that it is seen to be working hard to raise itself from OTC Pink and through the ranks."
The OTC Markets website says that "OTCQB is the middle tier of the OTC market. OTCQB companies are reporting with the SEC or a U.S. banking regulator, making it easy for investors to identify companies that are current in their reporting obligations. There are no financial or qualitative standards to be in this tier."
We anticipate the audit will be completed within three months and the Company will be able to file its Form 10 with the SEC thereafter.
