I can handle the encryption thats not an issue really..
But Motorala and Pace both DISABLE the FIREWIRE and the USB ports on the PVR itself.
So 1 way would be to hook up a computer,hit play on the PVR,then record the show using WinXP Media Centre

I'm trying....
