Thanks for the information, a lot of stuff in there that I was un aware of... thanks...

One good thing is that these Mississippian Shales that have recently driven up the price of their land position have a huge areal extent much like other resource plays like the Barnett, Eagleford, Haynesville, or Bakken Shale Plays. This also means that SIOR does not have to worry about 'hitting a good pocket' because it is already known to be there, not questions asked... There are no dry-holes or associated risk when exploiting resource plays, all you have to do is 'land' horizontally in the targeted formation & follow it for 3-4,000 feet...

I bought in last tuesday about an hour before close & have been following this board ever since, but was unable to post for some unknown reason??? I think that I posted over my limit or something one day... anyway... this seems to be a really good board...
