That is a very well reasoned argument for the continuance of research despite KBLB's dominance of the field.

It would be a very expensive and risky gamble for any multi-billion corporation to do this, but I believe that you are right that some could be driven to it if KBLB is abusive enough to it's markets.

This then becomes something of a cautionary tale.
KBLB should be careful not to treat any really big company or sovereign nation so badly that they will be willing to risk a billion dollars to sooth their pain.

So, according to you, it's a problem because KBLB has a broadly useful and valuable technology protected by IP?

Yes, people will be trying to match it and work around it. When does that NOT happen?
