Bruce, I am very happy to see you as IR for Medizone. I think that is a great decision from Ed Marshall. Wish you luck and an extra portion patience :)

First off, congratulations Mr Smeatz on your new position as IR with MZEI. I’d also like to make it clear that I am not doing anything behind the scenes and very happy to be sitting in the back seat and observing as we go.

I do have a question though concerning the Purdue Tests. On May 31, 2011 Purdue University teamed up with HOT Shot for a 5 City Tour. Could a case be made that Purdue University has/had a conflict of interest by being affiliated with Hot Shot? I hope not, but they sure are being slow and careful about releasing their test results. Or were the results so good they had to do the test twice?

In MZEI June 8th CC on page 9 it mentions that Medizone delivered a AsepticSure research unit to the Purdue Entomology Department. That was the same time that Purdue teamed up with Hot Shot for the 5 City Tour.

I am only guessing…if we assume that the life cycle of a Bed Bug is 12 weeks and the tests didn’t actually get started until after July 4th even using those generous terms IMO the tests should be done and the results should be released soon.

Also it appears Terminex doesn’t have any quibbles about using Purdue University’s name in their promotional article.
