#1380 RE: proifue #1379

Pro, when the Energy Bill is passed, it will contain various fuel blends that qualify for EPact status. Meaning that municipal fleets and commercial fleets who adopt these blends can qualify for certain tax credits from the federal government.
One of those blends will be a blend that IFUE has developed and tested at SWRI.
The blend is not patent protected and Defender will certainly exclaim that this spells doom for the alternative fuel. This could not be further from the truth. The blend, which tests show performs better than #2 diesel BTW, can be made by anyone. The rub is that it won't outperform #2 diesel UNLESS the user additizes it with IFUE's additive. Even more appealing is the fact that the treat ratio is significantly higher than the treat ratio of standard #2 diesel. Something like 200/1 instead of 600/1!
