They "got off" suspension because the suspension was for a defined period of time, not permanent. The suspension ended September 20, 2011 at 11:59 p.m. EDT. The next day AURC was on the greys, and still is.

On the 21st most anyone could call their broker and place an order.

How did they get off suspension

No, it had nothing to do with naked shorting. Being on the greys is usually almost the equivalent of not trading at all, but I think there was some confusion because Aurus wasn't mentioned in the last part of the SEC release about when the suspension was over. It's doubtful this will trade much if at all again as the greys it's very difficult to even get an order filled.

It's probably best to just go back and read all the posts on the board since early September to understand why it was suspended. For the worthless paper known as Aurus, it's kind of like the reason Al Capone went to jail. He'd committed a long list of crimes, very few of them proveable or worth trying to prove. In the end they got him for tax evasion. Aurus was one of the silliest scams I've ever seen, guilty of forging documents, fabricating production, faking ownership, paying select shareholders nickel and dime pump money, endless lies, and in the end it was suspended for....

"Black Rock Golf Corp. (a/k/a Aurus Corp.) (CIK No. 1012627) is a forfeited Delaware corporation located in Englewood, Colorado with a class of securities registered with the Commission pursuant to Exchange Act Section 12(g). Black Rock Golf is delinquent in its periodic filings with the Commission, having not filed any periodic reports since it filed a Form 10-QSB for the period ended March 31, 1998, which reported a net loss of over $713,000 for the prior three months. On July 17, 1998, Black Rock Golf filed a voluntary Chapter 7 petition in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Division of Colorado, and the case was terminated on May 31, 2000. Aurus Corp. claims it is a successor to Black Rock Golf, and as of August 29, its stock (symbol “AURC”) was quoted on OTC Link, had seven market makers, and was eligible for the “piggyback” exception of Exchange Act Rule 15c2-11(f)(3). Based upon Delaware state corporate records, it appears that Black Rock Golf’s corporate identity was highjacked by Aurus Corp., which is not a legitimate corporate successor. Aurus Corp. has not separately registered its securities under Exchange Act Section 12(g). A simultaneous trading suspension against Aurus with the 12(j) proceeding against Black Rock Golf is appropriate because Aurus purports to be the successor to delinquent issuer Black Rock Golf."

While reviewing all the posts, pay special attention to these, they are very important...not about the reason Aurus got suspended though, just worth renoting ;-)

What does Richard have to say about all this? Are you still in contact with the IR man?

"Aurc was suspended by the SEC from trading, because Black Rock/Aurus wasn't current with their filing information right?"
NO!
AURC was suspended because it appeared to not be a legal successor to Black Rock Golf. The shell appeared to be highjacked instead of legally purchased.Evidently the creditors in the bankruptcy did not receive any compensation for shell. And that makes AURC shares all fraudulent. It is now in the Greys where it will get the proper attention instead of being a messageboard P+D.
I can hardly wait to see if there will be any prosecutions for the highjacking.
