Can anyone explain how this plan could be more beneficial than simply using the cash you are going to send in to Sharing Way to pre-pay the card?;

4. Cardholder Fees
By accepting and using the Card, you are responsible for the following fees:
• An Annual Fee of $9.95 will be charged to your account each year on your
account anniversary date to reissue a new card.
• An Account Maintenance Fee of $1.20 will be assessed to your account each
month your account is active.
• For each value load or direct deposit you will be charged a $1.50 Value Load Fee.
(The minimum amount that you may deposit onto your card is $20.00)
• You will be charged $0.90 for each purchase transaction and any over-the-counter
cash withdrawal.
• A Paper Statement fee of $1.00 will be charged each month a statement
is mailed out to you.
• When withdrawing cash from an ATM, you will be charged a $1.50 plus the
applicable ATM network fees.
• For each ATM Balance Inquiry or Decline, you will be charged $1.00
• If you should need a replacement card for any reason, you will be charged
a $12.00 Card Replacement Fee.
• If you request to have the balance of your account sent to you, you will be charged
a $15.00 Balance Reimbursement Fee.
• If you choose to have a card sent to you overnight your account will be
charged a $20.00 overnight delivery fee.
• Each time you access the Bank’s automated telephone service system, you will
be charged $1.00 IVR fee.
• Each time you speak to the Bank’s Customer Service Representative, you will be
charged a $4.00 live Agent Fee.
• The Return Fee on ACH loads is $5.00.
• If you choose to change your PIN, you will be charged a PIN Change Fee of $1.00.
• A Non-Sufficient Funds fee of $15.00 will be charged to your account for any
returned check or ACH attempt.
• For a Card-to-Card Money Transfer you will be charged $1.00.
• For any merchant chargeback, you may be charged $20.00.
• You will be charged $1.75 for each INTERNATIONAL purchase transaction.
• When withdrawing cash form an International ATM, you will be charged $3.75 plus any
applicable ATM network fees.
• For each International ATM Balance Inquiry or Decline, you will be charged $2.00.

It could cost you $50.00 to spend $5.00. Just use cash. I would wager that the 5 ZKID Longs would even be too smart to sign up for that BS; let alone 28 million people.
