Yea that's a good point....but I still wouldn't sell knowing that immenent revenue should be just moments away... imo.

IMHO you are completely wrong on that one!

Pure spider silk is what has been long thought to be an unobtainable "holy gail" of high tech fibers.

It's like the 4 minute mile. When that record was broken it might have been a relatively small increment but it was on the front page of every paper in the world regardless. Because it had been attempted so many times without success and so many said it was just impossible.

Same thing with pure spider silk ("pure" here means NO worm silk protein and not an exact replica of spider silk)

It will be major news and the SP will pass 50 cents easily, IMHO. With or without any additional news.

Because pure spider silk is the hard "impossible" part. Once that's been done the rest is routine, something any company could do: getting a lab, setting up a sales team etc With a product that valuable it would be exceedingly difficult to NOT succeed on the rest. And the market well knows that.

It will spike and overrun as SPs always do on such big news. But it will not pull back to less than 3 or 4 times the previous value. Because the achievement will have added very real and lasting value to the company.
