No one is asking for her identity to be made public. The question was "Is she related to either of the Spencers?".
By publishing her picture and videos of her on the web, I'd say her privacy has already been compromised in the name of promotion. If Spencer's overall concern was keeping her identity hidden, he could simply have described the trial. Including information like how long the trial lasted, how the person was selected to participate, the problems as well as the benefits of the trial, and details about how the Carebot interacted with the trial patient would have been far more valuable and less intrusive, IMHO.
The fact that the end result was about 15 minutes of video and some general descriptions of "learned a lot" suggests to me this was less of a trial and more of a PR effort.
