Exactly Frustrated, you have hit the nail on the head!

It's was down 4.27% why didn't you pick the well loved XOMA, or APRI or AMRN for that matter to compare?

If the deal is at 1.11$ the protection works at 1.11$, not at 1.17, 1.16, etc. If I look at other stocks as just mentioned we could have been much lower. So that may be that value I was talking about.

Now you are not going to hear me say that the deal was a supper deal in terms of share vs value, I think the complete board knows that from the moment the deal was made, but again and I cannot otherwise then emphasize it again toward the same type of, understandable rightful criticism:

- it avoided 6M shares to be dumped on the open market (geo in his post was already worried about the 4M Dart could have dumped)
- it locks 7.5% into Institutional Investors
- it seems now, and time will show if it really is the case, that some support of pps (probably 1$ up, the 1.11$ may only be an perception) could have been part of the deal. In all cases someone was supporting the pps yesterday and you can use other posts that go in the same direction.
- this is a bad thing for new short position because the possible profit levels are blocked so they may try to find other and better shares.

Again Frustrated, I am not saying the 1.11$ was a good deal from the financial perspective and your comments are right on, I just try to see if they where searching added value in other areas, UNFORTUNATELY not SHORT TERM favorable to the share holder which is a problem for traders, not for investors.

What is happening now to the markets (and very probably again today) is part of investing. It's where our nerves are tested. The ones paying the bill are those that give in, everybody know that, the complete system is designed like that.

One would think, sell now buy back later. Unfortunately while this may be a good strategy for major result, not news, driven stocks it is a big risk with PPHM. Because it is news driven you cannot afford to sell and see a PR about Cotara roll in and miss the train. Believe me they will not announce it during market hours but PRE-MARKET (puts options out of the equations and forces everyone to buy the stock, then when market opens the option prices are immediately adjusted and much less attractive). I think if this would happen to one the long holding LONGS among us there would be real reason for frustration. That's why an investor focusing on the daily pps often deviates from it's plan and becomes a halve way between trader and investor and believe me unless you are skilled in the game this is not the moment to try that because this little scenario is not going to develop according the home and kitchen traders TA patterns.
