Jeff...you could be right but he said it clear as day on nation wide TV. It would be pretty hard for him to deny ever saying it and also it would be hard for Nike to fight the fact that if he wants to, he can play something else as stated in his contract.
I think what it boils down to is that even though it's in his contract that he can play something else, Nike is going to give that guy WHAT EVER he wants, at any cost, no matter what!!! They ain't gonna lose Tiger. Even if he found something he liked better they would just make the same damn thing for him and put their name on it. Of course they would change it just enough to avoid any copyright or patent infringements.
