Buggi, they have no shortages because nobody is buying them at such high prices. AMD can make 3800+ and 4000+ just fine, can price them accordingly, and thus there is strong demand for the parts.
If Intel could make the 570 and 670 easily, they would not be priced like they are. Yes, pricing should be non-linear, but the 570 and 670 are excessive, especially given their competition.
