If you will look on my Yahoo post, "Very Simple to Understand" You can see that the theory about the 52B reduction is related to the 50B Investment in Affiliates, which is related to a 50B loan to subsidiaries that was mentioned by Marsall in July341 meeting trancript in 2009. My understanding is one will not happen without the others. It is basically, "I owe you fifty two but you owe me fifty, So let us negotiate".
This is the reason for my speculation of a recovery of about 40B from Investment in Afilliates and the 52B reduction of claims.
Although, I could still be wrong.
