Only if you have a margin acct, then you need to call the broker as well and tell him that you do not want to have your shares borrowed. Then the MMs can't touch em!

Thanks DDC, I haven't chosen my 2nd broker yet. I was leaning towards scottrade but after what zigzag told me e-trade is looking better and better.
