It isn't up to him. He stated that the paperwork has been filed, now it is in FINRA's court. When he bought the PI-R shell, it took months for the change to MI-P. FINRA has tightened the rules for buying & selling shells. In that one he had to get signatures from EVERYONE that was ever listed as an owner of the shell, going all the way back to day 1. Hopefully he learned from that experience and had all of his ducks in a row before filing. Actually, that could explain why it took him over a year from the original shell purchase, to announce that he had filed.
