Wow, I can't believe people are taking QR barcode images off a Google search. I bet they were thrilled it was free.
But for eBay to do this after paying NeoMedia $2M? Maybe they only proofed the agency's copy and not the story boards.
If nothing else, this is a classic tale of why no one should use "free" barcodes.
