We have one ferrel cat that has made it through three winters, he gets one ugly coat of hair in the winter that I'm sure gives it hell in the spring until it is shed; my heart feels for this poor animal.
My landlord hates pets of any kind, and I know I'm too weak to control myself; I once had four cats and the expenses that go with it because I care too much. People dumping pets; I'd like to have five private minutes with each.
