Hey AK..that's what I'm not sure of..if you look at their information the second half of 2011 seems to be targeted. I can asure you that drifts and shafts are not just exploration..drilling test holes would be but drifts and shafts are mining terms that are used in every mining companies detail...I'm really not sure about answering you without assumption. It goes along with why is Hecla getting road and bridge information?..remember one of their shafts and drift combinations mined hundreds of thousands of ounces of silver before if was shut down in 1985..not because the ore wasn't there, but because it wasn't economical to get it out!!! Maybe they are where they want to be and are ready to start processing..JMO
Something else before I hit the rack..Akula you made me think of something else that might yield some information. Dan Murphy with Team Murphy Real Estate in Lake City has listings all over the area...Creede is a very small town and mainly a tourist destination in summer...If HECLA is ramping up for production they will be moving people in..It might be a little harder to find because most of these will be apartments but this isn't Dallas Ft. Worth...an influx of workers will be noticed. I'll make a call tomorrow when I can!
