I have to agree. Communication is not a strong point of this Company. Shareholders deserve some respect after what they have endured over the last three months.
Learning about Company affairs via the local newspaper is not the way to run a public company.
That's precisely the type of statement they would have made prior to suspension. The translation on this forum would have been they got their $70M Berlin payout. Who needs a $20M loan for Susanville, they have the money in cash! They said "other projects", as in let's sit down and start adding in millions of reoccurring revenue per N projects.
Contrast that to $3.5M final payout, which sooner or later will go towards salary compensation. No great sums of cash on the books.
With the SEC looking on, presumably they could put out a more generic PR, acknowledging a pay out, and that the project is complete. But if they make any statement about funds to develop other projects, they better be prepared to prove to the SEC that statement is true. Else it's helping to fan speculation.
So would a statement a final payment has been received, and LLEG's role in the development of the Berlin project is now complete, be sufficient? IMO it will be a surprise if they do offer specifics as in amount, and not surprising if they continue with Silence.
