Ask yourself "why is gas still so high"? Then think about it. Compare to when Bush was President in '05 and price per gallon was about the same.... Now you say, wait a barrel of oil now is only in the high $80's, and not $140 - $150 like it was after Katrina hit back then. So why is gas at the pump still this freakin high?
Because our $ (Dollar) is so damn low.... That is why. You can thank 0bama (yes that is 0 [zero] bama) and the democrats for destroying our currency.
