Back then, when I was heavily invested in a portfolio loaded with first class subprime mortgage companies, that I didn't have a chance against the miscreants.

I thought business as usual and a loss ratio within historic standards meant that the industry would survive and make me money like it always had.

I was good at the mortgage business and retired at the ripe old age of 52.
