You can take this for what its worth since it was a phone call from myself to Mr. Fong. I spoke with him around the time when the Freya deal was to come to fruition and one of my questions involved the solar patents pending that CNUV owns and what would happen to them. He replied that selling the solar patents was very tricky because CNUV needed to find just the right company that could make use of that technology and matching up to the right one in this economic climate was proving difficult. Apparently there is a lot of proprietary solar technology out there that doesn't match up to what CNUV owns. He talked to me about going in another direction for the moment. In hindsight it makes sense now that I see he has put solar tech on the backburner and has focused on acquiring a company that is not in an early development stage but is already producing revenue (SurgLine). But I guess none of this means that he has abandoned the hope of getting the solar patent into production; just delayed for the moment. Interesting week ahead for all CNUVers. Looking forward to it!
