I'm not sure I can see SG doing that, he owns the shares, and paid much higher price for them then we are currently at- why would he cost himself money like that. I'm sure I'm missing something obvious, but it escapes me atm.

That would be a wonderful surprise! If Scott retires 500 million of the shares he owns, then SEEK would take off huge! That would draw new investors, and certainly help keep old ones in the game. It would immediately raise the pps and generate interest in the investment community if Scott did what you suggest.
