Start the day with close to pure protein... steak and eggs... a touch of orange juice and a SMALL piece of rye toast. Lunch... loosen up and have 60-40 percent protein-vegetable... same with dinner... if you are hungry by then... I find two meals a day are more than sufficient at this point. In the beginning, you will hold your current weight for about 2 weeks, then it will start to drop a pound a week... there will be plateaus, but they will be surpassed... took me 8 months to drop the 30 lbs. but they have stayed off for 2 years now... this Christmas added 2 to the maximum weight I allow myself... working on losing them and a few more by June... praying for snow... the shoveling adventure helps. :-)
