I have scottrade since buying cgfia. The only bad part is you have to wait 3 business days before purchase. I have had no problems whatsoever with them. The commission is $7.00 per trade. I always love reading your posts besides the moderators.

I also use Scottrade. If you deposit a check at a branch office, your funds will be available at the end of business that same day. The 3 day wait is on bank transfers. (electronic deposit from bank to broker) Scott also charges 0.5% on trades under $4.00 per share.
Never had any trouble with them......so far.
