Your 4 is a reasonable number. Add in a couple of silent partners, and you're up to 6.

First payment 3.7M

Final payment 3.5M

Subtract out 2.7M recovering the 2M in seed money put into the project plus expenses for lawyers, accountants etc.

That leaves $4.5M for payday. If 4 chiefs are involved that yeilds an average $225K/yr over 5 yrs for salaries. If 6 then an average of $150K, where everyone's hero Mikey would get more, and some silent partner less. It's a living for our heroes. Onwards to New Bedford they go.
