Yes, but that would reduce the O/S, reduce the float and increase the demand for shares IF the treasury shares were retired after purchase.

Load up the coffers HNSS. You can purchase a significant portion of your company for a fraction of the cost.

You want to get some bang for your buck HNSS? Buy back your stock and then use it to purchase other companies instead of increasing the O/S.

IMO
