Most of the people on this board have been with Tivus from the early stages and are in it for the long haul. They have done a lot of DD and some have even been on-site to look at the technology and talk to the executives of the company. Its business model is one that I have not been able to find already on the market. Many major online companies survive based SOLELY on advertisement, and that's basically the model that Tivus uses. The advertisements pay Tivus as well as the hotel. It allows the hardware to be installed at no cost (kind of like cell phone companies who give free phones when you sign up for a plan).
Again, from an IPTV standpoint, there are many competitors. There are also many search engines, social media sites, etc out there. But there's only one Google, and there's only one Facebook. And a lot of the revenue for both of those multi-billion-dollar companies is ADVERTISEMENT.
