I am with Etrade and have never had an issue. For active traders, trades are $9.99 and there is free level 2.

I have the same problem with different securities through Zecco. I also have a TDA account and tried to transfer everything from Zecco to TDA. TDA went through the process and informed me that they couldn't do the transfer at this time. Individual accounts may vary though but they wouldn't transfer mine. This is a big problem. Although most of my trading goes through TDA, I have a smaller amount trading in Zecco. I won't use Zecco anymore and will eventually close that account somehow. Haven't had problems with TDA so far in most cases but I haven't bought or sold in over 3 months either.

Im using scottrade cannt complain. They charge like 15$ an order.
