You're lucky you still have power after that tree fell.
My mother has power but the neighborhood that abuts her does not. She let the guy who lives behind her run an extension cord from her house to his so he could keep his refrigerator going. He did that once before even though my dad warned him he could blow the condenser doing that. It worked last time. I hope it works this time.
I'm looking forward to next week's sunny, temperate weather. That should dry things out. I wonder if I'll be able to mow my back yard at the end of the day tomorrow. It is out of control.
