Dead wrong: RE "the goals keep getting bigger and further away."
Nothing whatsoever has "gotten further away". Pure spider silk is very close and has not gotten further away despite some here having anticipated it earlier. All evidence indicates that, thanks to the zinc fingers, KBLB is making progress on this at a very remarkable speed.
Saying that pure spider silk is "not a goal" was just a way of clarifying that the goal is making a whole series of high tech fibers and pure spider silk is just an approximation of one of the milestones. (And don't bother getting technical about what "pure spider silk" is. We all know very well that's just a close approximation. Such laying with words just means you haven't got a real point, IMHO.)
All that whole "goal" talk was just trying to shift fixation from only on pure spider silk to the much greater potential of what KBLB is working on: a very wide range of high tech fibers.
If you cannot understand what a remarkable and real accomplishment Monster Silk was and how credible it is with the ND, UW, Dr. Fraser, Dr. Lewis etc associations is then you really understand nothing about what the company is doing.
But then you have said repeatedly that only the price matters, right?
