#32202 RE: Frog313 #32201

I'll do a repost of something I mentioned earlier because I don't think some people realize just how dificult it is to penetrate the Christian market. It is definately out there and sales to be made but it has proven difficult for A LOT of companies who try to get a share of this market.

Breaking into the Christian market is not as easy as one might think. If you think about any Christian media that has been marketed you typically think of low budget projects. The movie Fireproof comes to mind. This was a low budget film ($500,000) and most of the cast and crew volunteered their time or worked for very low pay. The lead actor, Kirk Cameron, didn't even get paid. It was not advertised on TV or radio...it was marketed directly to churches and pastors (grass roots effort). While it was a surprise hit, most critics gave it bad ratings. My point is, that the Christian marketplace is very difficult to break into....it's not that Troy has lost his mojo, it's that this market has proven to be very difficult to tap.

There are actual companies who specialize in advertising through grass root efforts....especially for the Christian market. LFBG has hired Bob Hutchins from BuzzPlant to help in this effort and he is extremely experienced in that area.

Bottom line is Troy is creating the product line, and a variety of one at that, and that takes money. Once products are in place and advertising takes off we will see positive changes in LFBG...I have no doubt.
