jkingmidas0: Best of luck. My friend's relatives have lived around Nag's Head (the accent is on "Head") for generations--possibly going back to Virginia Dare's days. They claim to be descendants of the Roanake Colony. Think Croatans and Lumbees. After one of the storms in the 1990's, her cousin spent 100K replacing the sand on her property. Regardless, they have survived and prospered despite too many hurricanes to count.
