This is exactly the kind of thing that concerns me. It's all about circling the wagons, instead of letting the company and product speak. It's all about "multiple-bags!" and "missed the boat/train/rocketship" and not about the product and company.
Keep it up kids. There are plenty of places to buy reasonably-priced smoked salmon. Thought this would be a good one.
