Good point! I think it is clear who the winners are - insiders. How many insiders in history have lost money? Not many. The VASSSSSSTTTTT majority clean up. If they average 20% gains, that might cover it right there. But, in addition to them are all the people that get insider information illegally. That is huge number too. And, then there is the "smart" money - which historically has been hedge funds.

Unless you are a disciplined value microcap investor with the benefit of HW and BW, you probably have had no almost no chance to beat the markets - emotion or not.
