This is 37 pounds more than in 1970. Interesting. Bsically, this category would fall under perishiables, although we now know that IVFH also carries non-perishables such as chocolate, etc. AND, this is ONLY consumption, not actual ordering. How much waste again? So, for 200 pounds consumed, there were probably something like 250 pounds ordered. Given that there are over 250 million Americans, one can see that a company like IVFH needs to capture only a very, very small percentage of consumption to make it work big.
